Rathdrum sits at the edge of the more built-up Coeur d’Alene and Post Falls corridor, with a mix of established in-town lots and larger rural and semi-rural properties nearby. That range of lot types brings a range of project types: additions and remodels on established homes in town, and larger custom builds, outdoor living spaces, and wellness projects on the bigger, more open lots more common outside the city core.

We don’t currently have a completed project in our portfolio located in Rathdrum specifically. Our built work so far is concentrated in Coeur d’Alene, Hayden, and the Silver Valley, and we’d rather be direct about that than suggest otherwise. Rathdrum is fully within our service area, and every project here runs through the same design-build process, from the first site conversation and 3D visualization through construction, as any other Bespoke project.

A growing area with real variety in lot size

Rathdrum has grown steadily as Kootenai County has grown, and that shows up in a real mix of property types: smaller in-town lots close to Main Street, and larger acreage properties toward the edges of town and out into the surrounding county. A larger rural lot often opens up design options, room for a detached ADU, a bigger outdoor living footprint, or a wellness space with real privacy, that a tighter in-town lot doesn’t allow. We’ll talk through what your specific property makes possible before you commit to a direction.

Permitting

Projects within Rathdrum city limits go through the City of Rathdrum’s building department. Properties on unincorporated land nearby fall under Kootenai County directly. Rural and semi-rural lots sometimes carry different setback and septic considerations than in-town properties, which we account for early in the design process.
