Priest Lake

Bespoke Design + Build designs and builds custom cabins, lakefront homes, and remodels around Priest Lake, Idaho, including the Coolin and Nordman areas, roughly an hour and a half north of our Coeur d’Alene office. This is one of the more remote parts of our service area, and we scope every Priest Lake project with that in mind.

A remote lake, not a suburban one

Priest Lake is genuinely rural: dense cedar and pine forest, long gravel roads, and a mix of longtime family cabins, newer full-time homes, and small lodges strung along the shoreline and back into the trees. There’s no city of any real size directly on the lake, and building here means planning around that remoteness directly rather than treating it like a Coeur d’Alene-area project with a longer drive.

Most Priest Lake properties run on a private well and septic system rather than municipal water and sewer, which shapes site planning and timelines in ways a Coeur d’Alene in-town lot doesn’t have to account for. Material and crew logistics also take more planning: getting equipment, framing packages, and trade crews up narrow lake roads, sometimes with seasonal access limits in the depths of winter, is part of scoping a Priest Lake project honestly from the start.
